What's the Stock Market?
Imagine a big store, but instead of buying toys or clothes, people buy and sell pieces of companies. That's the stock market! When you hear people talk about buying stocks, they're buying small parts of a company. If the company does well, the value of these parts can go up. If you own a piece, you might make money!
